Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Draft for legal review. PureProof is in development. The operator's full legal name, registered address, contact details, governing law, and launch markets must be confirmed before these terms are published as final. These terms are not legal advice and do not replace advice from qualified counsel.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the PureProof website (the "Site"). If PureProof later makes an application, identity or age verification, or related service available (the "Service"), additional terms and product-specific notices may apply. If there is a conflict, the additional terms will explain which terms control for that Service.

"PureProof," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Site and, once identified, the operator of the Service. The operator's legal identity and contact information must be provided here before final publication.

2. Development status and eligibility

The Site describes a product under development. Unless we expressly announce availability and provide applicable onboarding terms, no verification, digital credential, wallet, QR code, or business verification service is being offered through this Site. Product descriptions are plans and are not a promise that a feature will launch or be available in a particular location.

The planned product is intended to help establish age or identity attributes, including an age threshold such as 21+, where supported. If the Service launches, you may use it only if you meet its then-current age, location, and eligibility requirements and can lawfully provide the information requested. Do not submit another person's identity information or attempt to defeat a verification process.

3. Nature and limits of verification

A verification result or digital proof is a technical signal based on the information and methods available to the Service at the time. It is not a government-issued identity document, a guarantee that source information is correct, or a guarantee that every business, authority, or other third party will accept it. A relying business may make its own eligibility decision and remains responsible for its products, services, and legal obligations.

We will describe the checks, data use, limitations, and any required consent in the applicable product flow before collecting identity documents, face data, or other sensitive information. Do not rely on planned features or website statements as a substitute for checking a third party's requirements.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when using any future Service, keep access credentials secure, use the Site and Service lawfully, and promptly report suspected account misuse through the contact details that will be provided before launch. You must not interfere with security controls, probe systems without authorization, reverse engineer or misuse the Service, or use it to impersonate another person.

5. Privacy and sensitive information

Our Privacy Policy explains the current Site's limited data context and the categories of information that a future verification Service may need to process. The Service will not be available for identity or biometric-data submission until its privacy notices, lawful processing arrangements, security controls, retention rules, and required consent flows are finalized for the relevant markets.

6. Availability, suspension, and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any future Service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or the rights of others, or to meet legal requirements. We will provide any notice required by applicable law. Updated terms will identify their effective date; where law requires consent to a material change, we will request it.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its original content, branding, and software are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the Site for its intended personal, informational purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided for general information and on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access, and Site content is not legal, financial, or other professional advice. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.

Any limitations or allocation of liability for a future Service must be finalized with counsel for the markets in which that Service is offered. Nothing here attempts to waive non-waivable rights.

9. Governing law and disputes

The governing law, venue, and any required consumer dispute process have not been specified and must be completed by the operator with qualified counsel before final publication. Mandatory protections in your place of residence continue to apply where required by law.

10. Contact

Before launch, this section must identify the operator's full legal name and a working postal and electronic contact address for questions, complaints, and legal notices.
