End-User License Agreement

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Draft for legal review. This EULA must be reviewed against the final Apple App Store and Google Play distribution terms, operator identity, applicable law, and product architecture before publication.

1. License grant

Subject to this EULA and the applicable Terms of Use, PureProof grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the compiled PureProof application on a device that you own or control for its intended personal or authorized business purpose.

2. Restrictions

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, redistribute, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code or cryptographic circuits, or create derivative works from the application except where applicable law does not allow that restriction. You may not use the application to forge proofs, bypass security controls, distribute malicious code, or misuse another person's credential.

3. Ownership and intellectual property

The application, source code, compiled code, user interface, visual design, documentation, trademarks, cryptographic implementations, zero-knowledge proof generation methods, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to PureProof. This EULA grants a license only and does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights.

4. Self-custody and device security

You are responsible for the security of your device, operating-system account, PINs, passwords, recovery material, private keys, and seed phrases. PureProof does not store or possess private keys or seed phrases used by a self-custodial wallet. Loss of required credentials may make recovery impossible. Device biometrics are handled by the device operating system; biometric templates are not transmitted to PureProof.

5. Relying-party responsibility

PureProof may cryptographically validate a presentation at the time of scanning, but that validation does not make PureProof responsible for a relying party's access decision, products, services, legal obligations, staff conduct, or real-world misconduct or false identity claims by bad actors. Relying parties remain responsible for how they use verification results.

6. Updates and support

PureProof may provide updates, patches, or changes, but does not promise that every device or operating-system version will remain supported. PureProof may stop providing updates or API access. A self-custodial wallet cannot be deleted from your device by PureProof, and keys PureProof does not possess cannot be revoked by PureProof.

7. Apple and Google terms

This EULA is between you and PureProof, not Apple or Google. PureProof, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the application, its maintenance, support, content, warranties, and claims relating to it, subject to applicable law. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce the terms applicable to the application made available through their respective stores. The application is intended to comply with applicable Apple Developer Program and Google Play Developer Program requirements; the operator must confirm all required declarations, entitlements, permissions, and government-credential authorizations before distribution.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The application is provided subject to the disclaimers and limitations in the Terms of Use and applicable law. Identity, age, cryptographic, validator, revocation, hardware, and network failures may affect results or availability. Nothing in this EULA excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Contact

The operator's legal name and working support and legal contact details must be added before this EULA is published as final.
